Systematische Wiederverwendung von Softwarekomponenten bei Finanzdienstleistern

Abstract

Für Finanzdienstleister ist die IT ein entscheidender Produktionsfaktor, der möglichst effi-zient und effektiv die strategischen Anforderungen mit IT-Hochleistungssystemen unter-stützt. Diese Arbeit stellt ein Gesamtkonzept zur nachhaltigen Steigerung der Effektivität der IT durch systematische Wiederverwendung vor. Durch die Nutzung von Ideen der industriellen Produktentwicklung auf Basis systematischer und geplanter Wiederverwendung von Softwarekomponenten wird die Softwareentwicklung für den anwendenden Finanz-dienstleister optimiert. Die Anwendungssysteme des Finanzdienstleisters werden dabei zu IT-Produkten zusammengefasst. Die Anwendung unternehmensweiter Modelle ermöglicht es, IT-Produkte so zu strukturieren, dass sie bei ihrer Erst- und Weiterentwicklung aus un-ternehmensweit geplanten und systematisch genutzten Softwarekomponenten „montiert“ werden können. Die IT-Produktbildung liefert ferner die Voraussetzungen für einen integ-rierten IT-Organisations- und IT-Managementansatz, der soweit dies für den Gegenstand der Arbeit erforderlich ist, beschrieben ist.

For financial institutes a key success factor is Information Technology that efficiently and ef-fectively supports the strategic requirements of the company. A vital basis therefore are highly performing IT-Systems. The document on hand presents a complete approach to pro-vide for a significant and lasting increase in effectiveness of these IT-Systems. It is based on the systematic re-use of IT-developments and of software components. The adoption of principles from industrial product development as well as of systematic and planned re-use of software components has been proven to be also applicable to optimize software devel-opment for financial institutes. Isolated software-applications of a financial institute are com-bined to form well structured IT-Products. Planning of the integrated structure of such IT-products is guided by enterprise application models. These allow to develop or maintain IT-products on a common basis that emphasizes “planned” and systematic re-use of (existing) software components. The integrated definition and planning of such IT-Products also allows providing for an integrated concept of IT-Organization and IT-Management. Both concepts are described as far as necessary for the subject of the work on hand.
