| Zusammenfassung: | Architects and engineers have to face the fact that formwork techniques have more influence on the shape of today's concrete structures than the characteristics of the structural material itself The art of building concrete shells has nearly completely died out. Therefore, it is important to take notice of the development of pneumatic formwork systems, wich offers an economical construction method for concrete shells. The construction of concrete shells could be revived. |
