Item Open Access Erfahrungsbericht über eine praxisbezogene Lehrveranstaltung "Warentestergebnisse und Absatzpolitik von Unternehmen", SS 1977 und WS 1977/78(1979) Arnold, UlliDie Lehrveranstaltung, über die hier berichtet werden soll, wurde vom Seminar für betriebswirtschaftliche Marktlehre der Universität Göttingen getragen. Das Seminar ist (mit-)verantwortlich für die Ausbildung von Volks- und Betriebswirten und Handelslehrern und betreut zwei Prüfungsfächer für das Diplom-Examen, nämlich "Betriebswirtschaftliche Marktlehre" (Absatz- und Beschaffungslehre) und "Handelsbetriebslehre". Für diese Fächer ist ein Pflichtveranstaltungsprogramm fixiert, das durch praxisorientierte bzw. praxissimulierende Lehrveranstaltungen wie z. B. This catchphrase is exemplary for widely-applied socio-political criticism of the general development of technology towards industrialized technology and for the pursuit of alternative life styles signified by decentralized, comprehensible technology. With reference to the field of energy, this is to be interpreted as the concept of an energy supply in which power is produced by a number of smaller plants at the point of consumption, and which for the main part makes use of regenerative energy sources, such as sun and wind and biomass.Item Open Access The impact of new technologies on the future energy supply(1979) Bohn, Thomas; Voß, AlfredThe foreseeable depletion of the oil and gas resources have pointed out may lead to a situation where supply cannot satisfy demand as soon as in the late eighties, requires a fundamental change of our energy supply pattern. The key technical issues lying ahead are the timely utilisation of new energy sources, the development of new technologies which increase the application and substitution potential of coal and nuclear energy, and last, but not least, to implement measures and technologies which make better use of the energy. In the industrialised countries, a broad spectrum of new energy production, conversion, transport, storage and end-use technologies is being developed. The most relevant of these technologies are described in this report and use the case of the Federal Republic of Germany in their present state of development; their supply and substitution potential and their economic aspects are discussed.Item Open Access On the methodology of cost benefit analysis and risk perception(1979) Engelmann, Peter A.; Renn, OrtwinCost benefit analysis is a method to weigh the advantages of a project envisaged against its disadvantages. The balance between cost and benefit as well as general affects toward the object lead to the final decision. The testing of this model has not yet been completed, but first results of experiments and surveys show that there is much evidence for the validity of the concept, although the steps of decisionmaking are not consciously followed up by laymen.Item Open Access Pragmatic techniques for program analysis and verification(1979) Plödereder, ErhardThe Program Development System (PDS) is a collection of programming tools created as an extension of the ECL programming system23. It contains components that assist the programmer in the definition and modular structuring of large programs at different levels of algorithmic abstraction. These components are supplemented by a program analysis package that produces an information pool to be used for such tasks as source-to-source optimization, semi-automated program documentation, fault detection and program verification. This paper describes the core of the analyzing package, the Symbolic Evaluator. In its implementation we have incorporated pragmatic methods for handling data sharing patterns, and for characterizing and reasoning about the behaviour of loops and procedures. The impact of these methods upon program verification techniques is briefly discussed.Item Open Access Dialektik der Aufklärung und neue Mythen : eine Alternative zur These von Adorno und Horkheimer(1979) Hubig, ChristophDer "neue Mythos" der Zweckrationalität, der die Möglichkeit der Reflexion nicht einschränkt, sondern die Wirklichkeit des Handlungsspielraums von Subjekten, ist kein Mythos, sondern Ideologie. Ihn als Mythos zu bezeichnen, kann jedoch dazu führen, daß er im antiken Sinne einer wird.Distanzierung und Stellvertretung bergen zwar pragmatisch die Möglichkeit von Regression (d. h. Abhängigwerden von Sachzwängen), jedoch gleichzeitig theoretisch die Möglichkeit von Reflexion.Durch die "Suspension" des Symbolgebrauchs und der Begriffe gelangt man nicht zu einem bilderlosen Zugang zur verkannten Natur, sondern zu einer echten Regression in den Zustand unmündig-bilderlosen Denkens.Mythos ist also weder ein unvollständiges oder irrationales Erklärungsmodell, noch einzig als Orientierungssystem ausreichend gekennzeichnet, sondern ein solches, das die Implikation seiner Nichtreflektierbarkeit durch dogmatische Erklärungen gewinnt. Mythos ist insofern nicht Instinktersatz.Ein Korrelat zum Instinktersatz kann man in einem negativen, Kritik und Abgrenzung begründenden, Naturrecht gewinnen, das zur Voraussetzung eine Reflexion hat, die die ursprünglichen Funktionen des Instinktes auf die möglichen Kontexte menschlicher Entscheidung bezieht, sowie auf die Möglichkeit der Entscheidung in verschiedenen Kontexten überhaupt; dies ist ein Wertbegriff, mittels dessen ideologische Zwecksetzungen kritisierbar sind. Als Chiffre für einen übersubjektiven Verstrickungszusammenhang möge anstelle der Götter des Mythos oder anstelle der Fetische der Ideologie jene Moira der Griechen treten, jenes Resultat kollektiver Interaktion, das nur durch eine solche, und nicht durch eine EinzeIhandlung beeinflußt werden kann, und dessen Nichtberücksichtigung schlechter "Zufall" oder das "Schicksal" genannt wird.Item Open Access Processing of abdominal lead ECG and EMG in perinatal monitoring(1979) Nagel, Joachim H.; Schaldach, MaxA new method of continuous monitoring both fetal heart rate and uterine activity during pregnancy and birth is described in the paper. Electrodes, placed on the maternal abdomen are used to obtain signals from the uterus as well as from fetal and maternal cardiac activity. By means of averaging and correlation techniques the components of the registrated signal are separated. The fetal electrocardiogram is used to compute the heart rate whereas the electromyogram is processed so as to result in the uterine activity curve. Besides a substantial improvement in the reliability of fetal heart rate monitoring, it is for the first time, that uterine activity could be registrated other than by mechanical means and without any additional signal transducers.
