dc.description.abstract	A multiple index problem is considered, whose constraints are given by sums over all indices except one. It is shown, on the basis of the Dantzig-Wolf expansion method, how to reduce the problem to the solution of certain classical transportation problems. It is shown how to find the initial values of the admissible solution, the estimation vector, the basis columns, and the exelemnts of the inverse matrix. A special method for eliminating degeneracy is described.	en
