Regulationsdefizite bei Electronic Commerce? : Workshopdokumentation

Abstract

Electronic Commerce - Geschäftsverkehr ohne Grenzen - aber auch ohne Regeln? Die TA-Akademie ging auf einem Workshop der Frage nach, inwieweit Regelungsdefizite tatsächlich ein Hindernis für die weitere Verbreitung von Electronic Commerce darstellen und wer der Adressat für die Forderung nach Regulierung sein sollte - der Staat, vielleicht sogar das Land, die Industrie selbst? Auf dem Workshop standen Erfahrungsberichte aus der Praxis neben Beiträgen aus der Wissenschaft, die Kernprobleme der Diskussion um die Regulierung von Electronic Commerce ausleuchteten. Der Arbeitsbericht dokumentiert die Statements sowie die allgemeine Diskussion auf dem Workshop. Electronic Commerce - trade without borders - but also without rules? The TAAcademy had organised a workshop to discuss the question, to what extent regulatory deficits are an important obstacle to the further spread of Electronic Commerce. Furthermore the problem was addressed, who the eventual regulator could be - the nation state, may be the Land government of industry itself? People and statements from business, politics and science were represented at the workshop. The discussion paper documents the various expert statements as well as the general discussion.
