Zur Funktionsweise Virtualisierter Organisationen : Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie in einem Projekt der Rauser Advertainment AG

Abstract

Dieser Arbeitsbericht gibt einen Einblick in die Organisation und die Rolle der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie (IKT) in einem virtuell organisierten Projekt der Multimedia-Branche. Die Analyse zeigt, daß in der Praxis weniger Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie zum Einsatz kommt als oft vermutet wird. Zudem werden Anzeichen deutlich, daß „reine“ Virtuelle Organisationen möglicherweise eine Stufe auf einem organisatorischen Wachstumspfad darstellen. This report gives an impression of the organisational structure and the use of information and communication technology (IT) in a virtualised project in the multimedia industry. The study shows that the use of IT is less intensive than often expected. Furthermore, first evidence is found that “true” virtual organisations could be one stage on a path of evolution of virtualised organisations.
