Brasilia: SQS 103 : Fallstudie über den öffentlichen Raum in einer Superquadra

Abstract

Die Superquadra ist ein idealistisches Wohnkonzept, das sich an den Leitlinien der Charta von Athen (1930) anlehnt und das durch den Bau der Stadt Brasilia (1957) tatsächlich entstanden ist. Diese Diplomarbeit hat sich mit der Frage, wie ein solches Konzept von den ca. 280.000 Menschen, die dort wohnen, angenommen wird, beschäftigt. Um den letzten Stand der Wohnqualität einer Superquadra zu erheben, wurde vor Ort eine Superquadra (die SQS 103) untersucht. The superquadra as an ideal residential concept under the aegis of the Athens Charter (1930) became a reality in 1957 with the construction of Brasilia. This diploma thesis discussed the acceptance/rejection of the concept by the almost 280,000 inhabitants who live there. First hand data was obtained in 2003 looking for the actual condition of the life quality in a superquadra (the SQS 103).
