    Interesting trapping products with phosphanes and chlorotrimethylsilane result from reactions with the novel intermediate phosphoranylidene carbenoid 1: These lead to the phosphoniomethanide 2 with PPh3, the dihydrodiphosphete 3 with PMe3, and the imino(methylene)phosphorane 4 with ClSiMe3.
