    Excimerlaser und Taperfaser : ein effizientes Instrument für die Ablation von Knorpel- und Knochengewebe

    In order to optimize bone and cartilage ablation various excimer-lasersystem at 308 nm wavelength and tapered fibers were combined. In comparison with conventional optical fiber the achieved drilling speed showed obvious superiority of this specially shaped light guide.
