Abstract
By the investigations carried out in 1969 it was established that day activity of imago form of Carpocapsa pomonella L. begins on an average at 1 p.m. and ends at 8 a.m. the next day. The rest of the time butterflies are sitting motionless. The peak of the activity is in the middle of the activity period and lasts 15 - 30 minutes. At this time the active butterflies make up 45.60 - 58.34 % of the whole number of those counted.
