Lega Nord, Forza Italia und Movimento Sociale Italiano-Alleanza nazionale: eine instrumentelle Koalition ohne programmatisch-ideologische Kongruenz?

Abstract

In dieser Arbeit wird der Wahlsieg des sogenannten 'Pols der Freiheit' um Silvio Berlusconi bei den italienischen Parlamentswahlen 1994 analysiert. Die Arbeit enthält eine umfassende Beschreibung dieser Wahlen aus koalitionstheoretischer Sicht, gibt aber auch eine bisher nicht vorhande deskriptive Gesamtübersicht über das politische System Italiens bis 1994. Außerdem enthält es Interviews mit wichtigen Repräsentanten von Forza Italia, der Lega Nord und Alleanza nazionale und eine Beschreibung deren Parteiprogramme und Organisationsstrukturen.

This work primarly focusses on the election victory of the threefold right-wing alliance around Silvio Berlusconi in Italy 1994. Using the coa,ition theory as a basic framework this thesis goes far behind the analyse of the 94 victory of the 'polo delle libertà', giving for the first time an complete overview about the political system of italy from the fifties tio to the nineties, describing the political programs of Forza Italia, Lega Nord and Alleanza nazionale and moreover giving an oversight on their organizational structure. Interviews with important party leaders of FI, LN and An are also included.
