Decision support analysis for the control of SO2 and NOx emissions-methods, models and results

Abstract

The paper will describe and discuss the main results of three studies that deal with the investigation of emissions and their reduction by means of optimization models. The presented studies show that the use of simulation and optimization models can be a valuable input to a decision process in an uncertain environment.
