dc.description.abstract	The content of adenosine-3',5'-cydic monophosphate (cAMP) in leaves of Impatiens sultani Hook was measured by a protein-binding assay. A preceding administration of the natural cytokinin zeatin causes a diminution of the cAMP level. Administration of gibberellin (GA 3) does not bring about any variations. There is no indication that cAMP is acting as a secondary messenger of either phytohormone. Theophylline does not increase the content of cAMP found in the leaves.	en
