We report on the polarized reflectance spectra of the two-dimensional organic metals (BEDT-TTF)3(Cl04)2 and α-(BEDT-TTF)3(N03)2 in the energy range between 0.01 and 5 eV. In contrast to the results obtained on other conducting BEDT-TTF salts, these compounds show high metallic reflectance values at room temperature down to lower energies. In particular, the Cl04-salts can be well described by a two-dimensional Lorentz-Drude model. On the basis of this model the transport parameters along the principal axes are evaluated for both compounds.en
